Thomas Dolby.

(viewed 1126 times)
Thomas Dolby played the closing night of his tour at the Canal Room in NYC. He was the opening act (ha) for BT.

He played 90 minuntes.

We left after he did. We weren't there to see BT.

Wonderful show. He didn't play Key to Her Ferrari (I have sadness.) but did play Europa and the Pirate Twins, In a Suitcase, Airhead, She Blinded Me With Science, Hot Sauce, Submarine and Hyperactive. I will forgive him the oversight. :)

I think this is my favorite photo from the whole night. In reality he was no more than about 3 meters away from me, out of frame on the left.

Again, the calendars are *at the printers*.

As soon as they arrive in NYC I will be the first person to let everyone know and get them the hell out of here.

Promotional images are *not* the ones used in the calendar.

Over 200 calendars are still available. Get yours.

In case anyone has missed it (it was posted in the middle of the night in Europe), our fantastically talented and otherwise wonderful calendar designer has posted the *actual cover shot* of our calendar.

You can see that, here(linky).

And you can also see the lovely Val WITH the lovely proof sheets here(linky)

Please note there is no nudity on the front and back pages of the calendar. The inner pages are NSFW and will not be posted online.

As soon as the calendars arrive in NYC, I will ship them out. Get juiced and get yours.(linky)

I think this is the best one yet.

Nutcracker dress.

I don't like the angle of this shot(I think I look _way_ heavier than I am-
oh well.) , but I do so love the dress. I only have one lousy camphone shot
of the dress from Friday night(and I wore my hair up, as usual), but I took
this one with the good camera when I got the dress back in June.I buy one new dress every year for this event. I've already found next year's. :)What I don't understand though is why it's so easy to buy a periwinkle dress but so impossible to find periwinkle *shoes*.Goodness.

still one of the most wonderful things to happen every year. Thanks, Amanda. :)

Every year I am privleged enough to attend dinner and the NYC Ballet production of The Nutcracker with Amanda's family (who may as well be my own. I certainly get along with them better.)

Every year it's more fantastic than the year before.

You had to be there.
