I saw this once we had walked along the wall a few hundred metres away. It really showed me how so many people disrespect the law and even though in most cases the police try and help you, people throw it back in their face. This was in a rundown area which is suppose why it was here and not in the main area of the city. This has obviously been written by someone who speaks English as in German this would say, “Ficken Sie Polizei”.

This again was along the Berlin wall. The reason I choose this was because this word was very prominent within the work. I have tried to see what they word means, but haven’t had much luck. It was on a wall which was red, black and white paint thrown at the wall, which created dripping down the wall. From the two colours red and black, I got a sense of death and with the dribbles down the wall, it reminded me of blood.

I saw this piece on the Berlin wall, and found it very interested to see how their language looks to ours. At first I thought the green letter was a G and in face even though it is it is upside down. The use of bright colours really attracted me to see this section of the wall; it was also twice as long as some of the other pieces which I suppose made people look at it more. Also which I thought was clever was that they had incorporated a lamp in with the design, so from the side of the road it looked as if it wasn’t there. There is a great amount of detail when you see it up-close, which clearly has had a lot of effort put into it.

I saw this sign on my way to see a large amount of snowmen on a field nearby. "Rette Mich!" and "Mich auch!" mean, rescue me and me also. When I noticed this I noticed a big difference between the English and German people. In Leeds people can't normally wait until the snow has gone, yet here in Berlin they wanted them to say. I found these quite comical to see as they have been made asif they are alive like us, and shows that they also have feelings. The second poster looks asif it has been done by a youth with the child like hand writing.
