As I'm currently babysitting the puppy seen elsewhere on MoblogUK, I thought I'd get a snap while she was playing with the other dogs' toy. So nice of her to pose for me, wasn't it?

W I N G !

(viewed 741 times)
Packed with people, and sounding something like a flatulent cow (you can't really see the huge tailpipe on this one), this otherwise stock Ford Probe appears to be ready for its intercontinental flight. Destination: Riceville. What's really funny about this car is the look on owners' faces when they find out that a tuneup for their car is ridiculously expensive. We used to sit in the Ford dealer's service department and just watch for reactions. If you wanna know why it's expensive, ask. I won't go into it otherwise.

Good thing I stopped, eh? Actually, it was only going about 2 miles per hour, which is why I sat there counting over 100 (!) cars for 15 minutes. Ah well, it was all on the clock! ;)

Puppy lies in wait

(viewed 897 times)
You can't tell, but she's looking at Tesla, and she's about to pounce. They both were skittish at first. Actually, that's not true; the puppy was disinterested, and Tesla was skittish/scared. Soon enough, they got along just fine.

New puppy and Tesla

You may have seen this puppy elsewhere on Moblog UK. That is true. You may have seen this dog on this particular blog. That is true, as well. Now you see them both here. Also true.

Contest over!!!

(viewed 809 times)
OK, the winner is.... no one.
I'm very disappointed. The answer is "Looking down the neck of a bottle of Mike's Hard Lime" alcoholic beverage. I put the lens right into the mouth of the bottle, and snapped it. The closest I think was Jennifer who guessed something about a lemonade glass. A tie for most creative response goes to Rich and Ilanna, for the Werther's and Lemon Jellyfish (!) comments, respectively. Next object coming soon!

I think I'm going to start doing this more often. Keep the ideas coming... maybe I'll set a time limit on this thing. Fun new idea!

Found my gargoyles!

(viewed 704 times)
Well, found one of them, and took a picture of all of them. I'd lost the threesome forever... They just disappeared, then I found them out of nowhere right on my desk. Odd, that. But I'm happy to have them watching over me again.

Dinosaurs downtown!

(viewed 706 times)
Saw this guy hanging out downtown on the way to see Gallagher (scoff if you must, but it was pretty damned funny). There were others besides this one, but he seemed to speak to me.
He said, "Take out your T-Mobile Motorola V300 Handset, and take a mediocre-quality picture of me to share with the world."
I replied, "OK then."
