I'm currently reading...

I was handed this book by friend M who said, "This is the book I told you about." I have no recollection of being told about any book, but I borrowed it anyway, and now I'm sucked in. Oh well, what can you do? Read it, I guess.

Suicide!

(viewed 817 times)
I don't seem to have much luck with Mono's. This is (soon to be was) my second Mono, and he's actually in the shark's mouth, upside down, and vainly moving his fins. Funny how the expensive fish seem to do the worst, isn't it? Time to go back to the fish place and get something cheap and hardy. I guess if you're going to go out, you should go in style, right?

Ahh karaoke...

It's not every day you get to see a Russian dude (complete with thick accent and fuzzy ear-flapped hat) and his girlfriend (with no discernable accent and a sundress in 45 degree weather) completely murder Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart." This performance included suddenly spinning around in a circle whenever the song got to the chorus, when the lyrics were "Turn around, bright eyes." I was in tears laughing, which might explain the pic's lack of quality.

Meet Cleo.

(viewed 743 times)

Better known as Queen of the House, this is one of those rare pictures in nature where Cleo actually looks in your direction while holding a camera (or any electronic device, for that matter).

Meet Tesla.

(viewed 691 times)
Better known as the Good One, Tesla hangs on my every word (as if you couldn't tell by that expression), and obeys nearly every command, including "Don't eat," "Get her!" and the ever-convenient "Go up to bed" at the end of the night.
