mostly to keep people from nagging me i bought a bike helmet yesterday. then i thought i'd up the danger factor by using my journey home to take some action shots.

these are old shoes

(viewed 598 times)
i realised the other day that i bought these trainers in 1998. that makes them nine years old and still in daily service. is that some sort of record? they don't even smell. personally i think they're cool.

BEAT INSTRUMENTAL!

(viewed 466 times)
...contains some pretty groovy ads. these were from about 1966. this issue also contained articles on the death of joe meek, and the devastating stage moves of mick jagger.

i'm a ramblin' man

(viewed 479 times)
i rambled all the way to the top of a hill and spied this humungous wodge of cloud coming our way.

so me and my rambling partner (mum) headed for the shelter of the rambler's retreat pub for a restorative orange and lemonade...

then we rambled home.
