..looks striking on the green background.
..thinking they were at the wrong festival...the gents found an alternate toilet!
It rained and rained and then rained some more! But with wellies and
brollies and access to a bar with a roof AND PROPER toilets V wasn't a wash
out!!
In the closest "village"(well it was at one time) to my house Ye Olde Sweet Shop has opened....
There is NOTHING that this place doesn't sell!!
I was like a very large excitable child in a, well in a sweet shop!
With Bilston (where???) being as culturally diverse as it is, the towns- (if
you can call it a town, one windy street, a couple of grotty pubs and the
obligatory post office) Craft Gallery (I didn't even know it had one) held a
display of items influenced by Islamic Art, called "Patterns Of Identity"
(hence the title) and although I can think of more prominent places for the
display than Bilston, some of the pieces were very impressive!
For anyone who doesn't know Bilston its a place in the Black Country
somewhere loitering in between here and nowhere about 5 miles from where I
live. For anyone who lives in Bilston..I'm sorry I'm sure it has some good
qualities and if you'd like to let me know what they are drop me a line!
More gallery shots....there was a series of these all around the displays but i thought they looked better close up!
