With the bad weather, the kids have had to do something between sledging and helping dig. Hamish has been getting very into his Rubik variations. This one is the Gear Cube, and it is pretty cool!

As snow shovels are impossible to find, our next door neighbour made a set of shovels from perspex and wood. 4 hours of clearing and we got the road and drives for 6 houses cleared.

Claire off to pick up Lexie from school - the snow for most of the route is too deep for Lexie's wee legs, so this is the only way

Hamish and Eilin came back from the gala with a stack of medals. Well done! a gold and 2 silvers for Eilin, and 3 golds for Hamish!
Our garden is getting more popular
At this depth of snow, the cat can no longer get to the bird table, so they are flocking in. Nothing else for them to eat round here, unless they can dig down a few feet!
