I'm a British mathematician, been in the Netherlands for 35 years ("chercher la femme"). Recently became a double proud grandfather. Have a compulsion, but it's not secret, to want to correct miscarriages of justice involving abuse of science, see Dhamaka's plea

THE 9-11 was my 50th birthday. That's why I use it in my internet name, but English fashion, 11-9. The other part is my surname.

Metta de Noo

(viewed 3709 times)
Metta is the very first fighter for Lucia de Berk. Metta is a medical doctor, specialisation geriatrics, terminal care. Her sister-in-law was paediatrician in the same hospital as Lucia; that is how Metta became interested in the case. Here she is on the "Sonja Barend Show", 16-12-06 (I'm afraid they kept her for last).

Here is Metta's site, the site of the Committee Lucia de B. (= Metta and her brother Ton Derksen and many helpers). This is their English Page.

Lucia, young

Metta de Noo sent me this picture. No idea where she got it from. They used it on the cover of Ton Derksen's magisterial book.

Met several of these swimming in Aarhus bay.

Pics bicked from internet, credits: here and here.

The batteries on my camera ran out after one photo... another try tomorrow.

To avoid confusion, I should say that the little boy in the picture is my grandson. I also should Photoshop (or rather, Gimp) the lamp away.

[and the table, MaggieD, but then the **** would be floating in the air. Which would be cool actually!]

And this is mathematics

Isn't that lovely? Well, we mathematicians think so... This is what we're working on, here in Aarhus. But I think we urgently need some more insight...
