I'm a British mathematician, been in the Netherlands for 35 years ("chercher la femme"). Recently became a double proud grandfather. Have a compulsion, but it's not secret, to want to correct miscarriages of justice involving abuse of science, see Dhamaka's plea
THE 9-11 was my 50th birthday. That's why I use it in my internet name, but English fashion, 11-9. The other part is my surname.
No-one ever expects the Spanish Inquisition

My wife often gets angry with me giving my computer more attention than her in the weekend. Hence I got the bucket on my head

A Bellevue Kriek Lambique. Bellevue is the brewer. Kriek means cherries. Lambique is the name of the kind of beer from one strange valley in Belgium where beer ferments spontaneously. You don't add yeast. The result is a beer which tastes ... distinctly funny. One day, someone flung some over-ripe cherries in a bucket of left-over beer in a corner of the brewery. A week later they came back, and tasted it. Kriek Lambique was born!
I like it.
