This is my current Tree of Choice. I drive under this every day and have watched it go through it's autumnal phase, which is by far the prettiest, but have been foiled in photographing it until today by gloomy weather or running late.
Heheh...with my very limited drawing skillz may I present...me and my dog!
I made my sister ring into a necklace with lots of other bits of stuff. I like this.
Ok so it's not all bad. You get good presents for turning 30! This is my new diamondy sparkly ring offa the husband-type, and my beautiful shiny iPod - my friends clubbed together to buy me a new one after getting sick of hearing me complain and whine about frying my old one a couple of weeks ago!
Even the road signs on the way to work were taunting me today.
*head in hands*...it's just a number...it's just a number....and the end of my youth...wah!
It's not even my birthday yet and already, courtesy of lovely friends...cake heaven!Sally, super hostess extraordinaire, not only rustled up a surprise birthday party for her blokey Rich on Saturday, with friends squashed into the kitchen hiding, food everywhere and lots of drinks, but in the midst of all this she remembered it's nearly my birthday too and got another whole cake ALL for me!
And then tonight I got a box full of the most elaborately decorated sparkly fairy cake goodness from Rachel! Yay!
Release the hounds! I went to see my Scottiedog H earlier, then to meet my new dog-in-law Morgan, da black labrador puppy...ah...
At least, I think they were previous Halloweens. It's quite possible it was just another ordinary night with the (at the time) future husband and best mate...
