I am the stone that the builder refused
I am the visual, the inspiration
that made lady sing the blues
I am the spark that makes your idea bright
the same spark that lights the dark
so that you can know your left from your right
I am the ballot in your box, the bullet in the gun
the inner glow that lets you know to call your brother ’son’
the story that just begun, the promise of what’s to come
and I’m-a remain a soldier until the war is won

Vizio had a smaller booth upstairs where they were showing off some of their internet capable TVs. Complete with widgets and apps, and a remote with a QWERTY keyboard that slides out so you can update Twitter and Facebook from your couch.

Seriously. Yellow. Blogger badges are yellow. Media badges are a nice inconspicuous blue. Note to self: next year get a media badge.

The lady at the check-in desk explained that if I tune to channel 22 on the TV in my room, I can listen to the music playing outside with the fountain.
She also insisted on giving me 2 keys and a line pass for some of the restaurants, and some tips on booking shows while in town. She said, "you know, in case you find someone." I like her.

The night shots are awesome and all, but here's the view Thursday morning from my suite during one of the musical displays.

The view from the left window actually looks out over the famous Bellagio musical fountains, Paris, and Planet Hollywood.

Vegas really is a glittery, lit up city in the desert. Even landing in the dark, it seemed to spring out of nowhere, suddenly, a bright beacon.
This is a view from the same window, just looking down the strip.

The window to the right of the bed looks out at Ceasar's Palace resort, and down to the street below.
