We got the 4th off to a great start with some delicious banana and blueberry smoothies. A little ice cream, yogurt, and some orange juice for lift and you have a glorious warm weather treat.

Tonight's project: Blueberry Grunt with Ice Cream

My mother passed along a recipe for Blueberry Grunt (Blueberry Duff) and tonight, using fresh blueberries from a coworker, I gave it a try. Behold the results, topped with vanilla ice cream!
And yes, it was absolutely delicious.

NYC Taxi...in DC!?

Saw this guy around midnight while driving through Northeast DC. He was kind enough to let us get a shot of his cab, and explained he had just dropped off a fare and was now about to head home.
