My Dad & Brother work at the newly refurbished Fort Dunlop in Birmingham and I had the opportunity to visit on Friday evening, so I went up on the roof to take some photos, despite the gale force winds!

These are the massive illuminated letters visible from the M6 motorway (where they look quite small!)

I want to go back in daylight and get a photo of someone sitting inside the letter 'O'!

The Foo Fighters bring their 'Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace' tour to
London.

We ended up right in front of the acoustic stage which was lowered down from
the arena ceiling mid-set and were treated to a 30 min acoustic set, during
which Brian May & Roger Taylor from Queen played with the Foos!

We took The Blonde Kid and 12 of his mates trick or treating....an hour and
a half later we had 12 quid in cash and enough sweets for all 13 of them to
take home half a shopping bag full of sugary goodness each!

The kids all had a great time - the adults consumed vodka afterwards in an
attempt to get over the excitement!!

5 adult hands included for scale!
