Value For Money!

(viewed 1241 times)
This 1 litre, 14 pence bottle of Somerfield washing up liquid lasted us a
whopping 53 days!

We wash up at least once a day, nearly every day. That's 0.2641509 pence per day!

Value for money or what!?

Plus it doesn't give my hands leprosy like that Fairy stuff does.

Circa 1982, Aston Villa won the European Cup (what's now the Champions League) 1-0 against Bayern Munich, the winner coming from Peter Withe.

Our family has Claret & Blue blood running through it's veins and so the younger generation went a long to join in the glory!

L-R: Dad, Grandad, Uncle Brian, Me, cousin Steve and cousin Michael (aka Miguel Sanchez on moblog).

Ironically one of my younger brothers is now nicknamed 'Stato' because he's a football fanatic, more so than the rest of us these days (he goes to all home & away games) but unluckily for him, he was born a couple of years late and was but a twinkle in our parent's eyes in '82!

My Snowman!

You would have thought a 7 year old and an 8 year old would jump at the chance of building a giant snowman wouldn't you? But no, they were more interested in arguing and hitting each other with sticks. So the 25 year old built one instead!

It was a bit rough and ready around the edges, and could have done with some facial styling from the likes of 'Nip/Tuck' but it did the job and I was quite pleased with it's height, and the fact it was rolled from 2 huge balls of snow, one of which we had to lift!

As you'll see in the video, the young'uns enjoyed themselves destroying it nearly as much as I did making it!
