Whiskers

It's not that I'm not busy it's just that the server is down at work. Cue gnashing of teeth, eye rolling and loud sighs. Computers huh? Love em, hate em. Just because they're fast doesn't mean they're clever.

Yoshitomo nara + graf

Exhibition at the baltic arts gallery in Newcastle. Great series of artists. Wanted to come for ages. This was part of an installation by a japanese artist, a bit manga influenced. People coming in and leaving smiling. Also on is Double Agents which is well worth a visit. As we were standing there, words appeared on a screen typed by someone sitting at a desk. Didn't know at first if the two things were connected but then we realised it was about us. So we became part of the art. Funny and cool. There is also a chair lift there you can go up in to listen to a sound box at the top.

The sound of the pipes

(viewed 594 times)
Mxied marching and pipe band. The sound of Highland Cathedral always brings a tear to the eye. Strange how it stirs the blood; the sound of the pipes. When they marched off a load of kids ran after them shouting 'follow the band, follow the band'.
