So made 15 buildings tonight. Coming together but not sure if it's ultimately going to work as it makes the board too labyrinthine and I don't seem to have enough entrances and exits to make it properly 'tactical'. But it's fun to build and I reckon there must be ways I can fix it :)

So I just forked out 250 bucks on art materials to make District 10 Tactics. Tonight I am going to snub the NYC nightlife and build my own miniature shanty town... Mwah haha... Mwah hahaha Hahahaha!

This the beginnings of the game board for District 10 Tactics. What will be a the dust tactics game set in the south African slums of 2028, taking place after District 9 when all the prawns have been moved to District 10 and a shady government agency has declared a secret war against MNU who have managed to crack some of the aliens tech and build human powered walkers/mechas. Got a basic story arc together, and maybe, just maybe Christopher Johnson will return.

Trying a non-dry brushing technique... Worried it makes them look stripy rather getting across a sense of depth. These are going to be the d-9 'cowboys' with MNU armour.

Funnest part is that these base coat colours remind me of the army men I had when I was 8.
