Foggy Cam

(viewed 1559 times)
I was marshalling the first division of the Winter League on the Cam on Sunday morning. It was very foggy and cold, but quite pretty! This was obviously before the carnage caused by a whole load of idiots in boats rowing past far too quickly (including my own boat in a later group).

You can just about see the sun poking through the clouds on the last shot.We finished 91st out of 153 teams with a time of 12m31s (not too bad given it was our first ever race).

My friend Hungry Rob's boat came first with a somewhat more impressive 9m10s! Crikey!

Though James thought it was nice, the sausages were about 5cm long, and the eggs looked like they could have been laid by a pigeon.

I think perhaps Leeds' Ha Ha Bar was having a laugh at our expense...
