This is London, not Antartica, so why don't the tubes run all night,
You are my Girlfriend, not Molly Ringwald, so why won't you stay here tonight,
This is sixth form poetry not Keats or Yeats, and now we find the part that we both hate.

We love the city because it lets us down, We love the city NOT the suburbs that surround.
We love all the dirty things, that lead us to think, that maybe true love could be found.
We love the city because its how we live, We love the city cause it never loves us back.
We love it all because sometimes, even though they're hard to find, it contains all the virtues we lack.

(Hefner "We Love The City")

"let the good times roll again..."

One of my favourite ever pics of teflon and I, giggling like idiots, taken on the ferris wheel at T in the Park 2003.

I've already said this to him, but I wanted to say it again here: we're gonna have good times like this again - whether as a couple, alone, or as friends... you're one of my best mates, you are, mate! Without you I'd never have discovered the cameraphone joys of MoblogUK - without me you'd never have discovered the comedic genius of Spaced. And a million other little things that still matter to me now, even if another million nasty little things have made us lose sight of all that for a bit.

I don't know how things are gonna turn out. But it'll all come out in the wash. Or something. Just need our own space to sort stuff out for ourselves.

(EDIT: just wanted to try and avoid any awkward moments on moblog, tef says he's happy for this to be up!)

Went to see The Mighty Boosh live in Brixton. Unbelievably good. Especially Bob Fossil.

thank you teflon!

My cd/dvd drive is now functioning thanks to Martin and his magic
tools, saving me 250 quid in repair work... well apart from the fact
my screen also seems to be about to fall apart.

Does anyone else think that laptops should last a bit longer than two years?

Viva Cake

We went to Viva Cake on Friday. It was a fabulous night of rock n roll, lindy hopping, Johnny Cash covers, tea, cake, live band and some very very well dressed people.

Takes place every month at the Bethnal Green Working Men's Club, E2.

Does anyone know how to get stubborn cd's out of macs? I've tried holding down the trackpad button down while starting up :(
