First, in 5 mins, second in 4. Errrr.....
Spooky.
I don't know how many recall how enamoured I was of the peanut butter kitkat that I acquired some time ago. Previously only available in Canada, it has appeared in a chunky version right here in the UK, and is super tasty fine. Mmm peanut butter.
I was feeling decadent this afternoon, so I whipped up some eggs benedict for brunch. And damn if those poached eggs didn't turn out perfect.
I'm having a nice classic dinner this evening, having dragged myself away from my ludicrous pile of work to cook. Tonight we are having baked trout, sprinkled with lime and butter, accompanied by pan fried spinach with garlic and some lovely new potatoes with herbs and butter. Mmmm tasty.

Teaching can often be a thankless task, but sometimes you get a real buzz that you've helped people GET something. My beginners computing class term ended this evening, and the class all got together and got me a bunch o' flowers and all signed a card for me thanking me for helping them get over their fear of computers and helping them make their first steps into the wonderful world o' computers. Made me feel pretty darn good :-)

Some of you out there will understand this. I was walking through St James Park yesterday, glanced over towards the trees, and was struck with an almost uncontrollable desire to go and water the flower and pull out the one that looked like a weed.
Sigh
Mmm, strawberry flavoured chocolate. With little bits of real strawberry fruit (tsubu tsubu) FAR superior to the strawberries and cream flavour briefly available last year. Another winner from the Japanese contenders.
I love sticker art. Nice to see more of it about.
