When Erin, our granddaughter, was just 18 months old we discovered that she had Cystic Fibrosis.

This terrible disease affects over 7,500 young people in the UK and stops many from living beyond their mid-thirties.

We aren't really in the right shape to run marathons and can't bear the idea of sitting in a bath of beans - baked or otherwise. What we can do is walk and walk and walk.

So, on May 31st we will start our walk from one end of the country to the other - John O'Groats to Lands End. That's right.....it's all downhill.

Please make sure to visit our sponsorship page and give whatever you can. Every penny will go to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis and make sure these young people can enjoy life as pensioners like us!
