CHILDREN IN NEED

At Leven Primary School, near Beverley, youngsters took to the stage in a talent competition.

Ellie Hobson, 11, said: "We have got three judges who have whittled the pupils down to three finalists.


"We have had acts singing and there have been dancers too.

"Anyone who wanted to take part was asked to make a donation."

REMEMBRANCE SERVICE

Key Stage 2 held their Remembrance service at the war memorial and church today.

Our thanks go to Mr Head who led the service and Mr Robinson who played piano for us.

The children were a credit to the school at the service.
