Year 2's Multi-skills morning!

On Tuesday 30th June Leven school went to Hornsea Primary School but first
we went to the wrong school! Sigglesthorne school came as well. We went on
a coach. We had to 12 activities but we didn't get to do them all. My
least favourite activity was gold because it was really tricky. My
favourite activity was the long jump. It was FAB!

Year 2 went to Hornsea Primary School. We went on a coach. We were put
into groups. Then we started doing our multi-skills. My favourite was
bowling. The throwing was hard for me. I was good at long jump.

Report by Matthew D.

Ella got locked in the toilet and she couldn't get out! She wriggled and
struggled . Back outside everyone was having fun doing activities. Our
favourite activity was bowling and doing the golf. Our least favourite
activity was the hurdles and throwing the bean bags in to the tubs.

The gardens have been developing over the past few weeks. We now have an alpine garden, a sensory garden and we are beginning to get our first harvests.

Year 2 had a great Mexican day! We made tortillas, sombreros, flags and
pinatas! The children looked great in their Mexican coloured clothes -
thank you to all the parents for supporting the day! A huge thank you to
Mrs Watson who designed the sombreros and pinatas and came in to help for
the day! We had a VERY busy 'making' morning and then had a picnic in the
afternoon. Whilst we ate our tortillas and drank chocolate milkshake we
watched each other bash their pinatas! A great time was had by all.
