Welcome to the official Moblog for Maximo Park - the Maximoblog.
This is where the band post photos of whatever takes their fancy that they think might be of interest to the wider public, from the mundane (backstage) to the spectacular (Archis' hair).
But they are not the only ones, as this Maximoblog is open to you!
Anyone who wants to send in a photo, whatever they feel relevant, we would love to see. The more the merrier, the more creative the better.
Get involved!

I foolishly like a FOOL decided to draw out Duncans picture and it took me
ageees. It turned out ok until my crappy scanner made it look crappy! It's
better in real life i swear!!! :) I've noticed that nothing ever really
turns out like you expect it to...('sigh' lol)This picture's named after Kareoke Plays cos' that song means so much to me
even though i didn't write it lol.It always reminds me of someone who died recently and i always think of them
when i play it. I nearly cried when i came to see you guys live last week
and you played it, but i was too happy to finally see yous lot after 3 years
of dedicated maximo-ness. (I wish it was longer hehe) It was really weird
cos i got the tickets to come see you one day before that someone died, I
was so excited and then that happened. (it's like some sort of twisted karma
or something) This picture doesn't do that song justice.'Someone gets run down
Kareoke Plays Somewhere in the background,
But there is no explanation.
What makes a grown man cry?
Kareoke Plays and someone gets run down...I came home- there were radio waves
I heard voices through the radio waves
I came home- you were nowhere to be found
The lights were on and the radio played'I don't know if i've got the right idea of the song but thats what it means
to me. Anyways i'll stop boring you with my life story and all i can say is
'I hope i win!' :)Jessica x

hiya,
Was inspired by Lukas's email asking for piccies esp those unflatering ones and it got me thinking of a random photo i have of Pauls back (no comment on the hairyness heehee!!) so though i would send them you way for personal pleasure or putting up on the site!! Theya re from Boxing day night in Stavka in Glasgow where Paul wowed us with a wicked DJ set! Despite the lack of dancing weegies we loved it and danced about like crazed loons! Enjoy!
