Days like this make me wish I had a better camera

Then again, there's really no way to frame the candidate signs and the shithouse together clearly. I live on the PA border, where gas is usually a quarter cheaper than NY, so I pass this guy's house a few times a month. Never noticed it until a little while after the flood, when two huge, whiteboard spraypainted signs went up in the yard. I forget what one said -- it was beligerant enough that I thought the pair must have been posted by an irate neighbor who was annoyed that everyone else cleaned up their property after the water receded except this guy -- and the other one read "AREN'T YOU PROUD???" I understand that the house's owner is wingnut, and the government's relief outlay wasn't to his liking. So, he basically left his place in the same shit state it was in after the flood. Sometime after the signs went up, Rep. Don Sherwood stepped in and strangled this homeowner's problems with red tape like he throttled his mistress, and the guy took the signs down and put up an equally huge spraypainted "THANK YOU DON SHERWOOD" sign and a battery of Sherwood & Santorum lawn ads. Both men lost their seats, but the signs & thank-you note remain outside the house, which still looks prettt much like it did in July.
