Come and see our Nectar Cafe! It's at the back door to the classroom
beside the picnic tables. Did you know that bees are so important but have
lost 97% of their natural habitat in the last 60 years? With that in mind
we planted our tub with flowers and plants that bees love - cosmos,
lavender and oregano amongst others. Gardening with a social conscience :)

Based on our seaside theme, we spent this afternoon investigating patterns
and sketching seaside souvenirs (shells and rocks!).

We worked with Theo Wickenden to make a year 2 bird box colony inspired by
tower blocks and some giant acorns! We had been investigating patterns and
growth with him over three days. Please come and see them if you can.
They are on the edge of the wildlife area.
