Tank carving on tree on the Wolds Way just outside Hunmanby

"When I was a lad" somebody told me that in the second world war there were some tank division at Stockendale on the Wolds Way near Hunmanby. I remember been told that there was a caving in a tree - well here it is. It must be 15 years since I last saw it. It won't be there for much longer as it looks like the tree is dead.
