Wonderful sunset last night. Taken with my phone while driving home.

We have a family of these living somewhere near the building I work in. They often fly past, heading to the park behind my building to hunt.

I'm not generally afraid of heights, but I don't think that's a job that I could do.
They are tethered to the building, but still...

My son & I have been on vacation in Canada, visiting my mother & other relatives in New Brunswick. Today's our last full day. I don't want to go home, but I think Raven's mother would be rather put out if I didn't bring him back. :P

I guess I can now say I'm published. *chuckle* My friend Sara wrote an article for a local weekly paper and asked me to take photographs to go along with it. The article was printed in the April 8th edition of Flagpole Magazine, including one of the pictures I took.
The online version of the article is here, and includes two pictures to the print version's one:
Sadly, they didn't attribute them to me, as Sara had asked, but no matter. I know I took them. *grin*

I get paid every other Friday. On payday, my co-worker Tim & I go to a Mediterranean restaurant, Aladdin's, for lunch. We look forward to this a lot, and often wander up to the other's desk to ask "Is it Magic Friday yet?"
Today Tim couldn't go with me, so I got our food to go and brought it back to the office:
I combine all of them together to make a little sandwich, which is leaning up at the front.
I love Magic Friday.

Went camping last weekend with some friends who own land in North Carolina. There's an old barn on the land, which has one mostly fixed up room, in which they stayed. Since it was rainy, I decided to pitch my (very small) tent in the unused hay loft.
