Nearly done I think... But thought I'd include some more humanoid ones to show we were really there. Sepia ones of me by Miss Amy Richards who is the strangely posed reading girl in the pool in the last one. She sat like that for ages, burnt arms and shoulders ahoy!

The first is the top of the canyon from the bottom looking up, it's still narrow in places. The second is a carving of a trader with a camel, eroded though so you can only now see the bottom half, the two back feet of the camel are still visible too, and it's belly but no legs to join them up!

Petra was nothing like I expected, it was awesome and huge and peaceful. I think we were lucky with the time of year we went as there weren't many people there at all. There's so much history there, it's really overwhelming if you think about it.

The resort was gorgeous, although everywhere around was barren, where we were staying was so lush and pretty with so many pools and places to explore. Can't imagine what their water bill must be like!!

...laid around in the very hot sun in taba heights in Egypt. The sea you can see here is the Gulf of Aqaba, the land you can see is Jordan with Israel out of shot on the left and Saudi Arabia to the right.

snooker tables are rather large

and the balls go so fast and far! this was fun, even though i lost as usual, i did pot 3 balls before my opponent got ONE. ha.
