No 2 ID

Guess what, kids? The legislation to create a compulsory national ID card (the likes of which we ain't had since those oh-so-jolly days of WWII) isn't dead! Even with their majority slashed the government still feels it has a mandate to bin our personal freedoms in the name of somehow "protecting" us from unspecified "evils".

Why not do something about it - sign the petition at and let them know that not everyone thinks it's the super-est idea since the cold war stopped being a good excuse for an arms race.

It was so sunny today that trying to get too much of the sky in shot caused the rocks to become hugely dark in the exposure. Good stuff, though.
