First moblog from Mount Everest

Rob Baber is heading to the top of Mount Everest to make the world’s highest land-based mobile phone call and text.

CH4 Dispatches: 'Bin Wars' Moblog




The reduction in rubbish collections has caused public outrage in Britain. Over 150 councils are switching from weekly to fortnightly refuse collections. Will this improve recycling rates as the government has claimed or will it result in mounting piles of rubbish, putting our health at risk?

Today we launched a moblog for the artist Just Jack, but rather than being a tour diary, it's a competition to choose a person to become one of the characters on the artwork for his new single, 'Writers Block'.

Entering is simple, moblog a picture of yourself, with your nickname, favourite item of clothing, and one item you could not live without in the text.

Jack will choose his favourite 5 posts for a short-list, and select one image that will become a character on the artwork of his summer single, 'Writers Block'.

fantastic competition

Thank you everybody who took part in the Science Of Sleep moblog we ran for the movie.

There were some (as usual) really inventive and excellent posts. Because the moblog is so much fun, we'll be keeping it open so that you always have a place to send your dreams to, a dream home if you will.
