Christmas presents

(viewed 1352 times)
My friend Ana found some old slides of her parents, taken whilst travelling in the late sixties. They were in bad condition but I cleaned some of them up and framed them as a gift for her folks. Some of the images are just gorgeous.

Junction 14 Ladies Barbershop Choir

(viewed 3753 times)
Junction 14 are an amazing all-ladies barbershop choir, hailing from my native Milton Keynes. I photographed them during a practice session whilst they were preparing for a big competition. They were some of the most expressive and emotive characters I’ve ever had the pleasure to shoot. Look at those faces!

The park: Not just for dog-walking

I increasingly see the strangest things when I'm out and about...

Photostrip. Front-room tip. Video clip.

I've just completed an assignment for Milton Keynes Council of Voluntary Organisations (www.mkcvo.co.uk). I spent three weeks working closely with them to visually showcase the stellar work they perform with the community.

I curated their stock of over 20,000 photographs and used them to re-imagine the MKCVO logo as a mosaic (http://moblog.net/view/913074/some-of-my-work-for-mkcvo). I also photographed several original images of their staff at work. Finally, I turned my front room into a tip to create a stop-motion photography video of MKCVO's annual review. I really only did the video as a bit of a laugh to generate some other ideas, but they loved it so much that it became the centrepiece of the presentation at their AGM, held last week at the MK Dons stadium.

You can see the video on Youtube:
