the noise coming from this ivy was amazing......so many varieties of insect were feeding, bees, wasps , bluebottles and butterflies. an ugly flower but it must be delicious :-)

they are disfiguring alien shapes on these poor acorns, but fascinating at the same time. caused by a wasp ( I think) but I'm not sure what caused the rose one....
