I?ve been meaning to photograph this lovely old sign since I first saw it
about 6 years ago. Now I have.

Jasmine and I decided we?d prefer to cycle rather than join in with all that
gardening malarkey today. We set off around lunchtime with no real aim in
mind, other than to get a bacon sandwich across the river at Neyland Marina,
which we did, then headed off up the Brunel Trail, whereupon I got a
puncture. It was soon mended and we carried on undeterred. In total, we
covered around 15 miles, at a leisurely pace. Some firsts for Jas: she rode
on real roads amid real traffic for parts of the journey; she used all 6 of
her gears, and now knows what they?re there for (she even changed down when
approaching a junction without my suggestion!) AND, most importantly, she
rode ALL the way up to the bridge with no getting off and pushing! I am
probably the proudest Dad in the whole wide world at this moment! I
practically had to force her to turn round and come home, she wanted to
carry on forever!
