HAND BUILT...

(viewed 1839 times)
...by Dad!
This morning I got paid to build the bike I bought for Dylan, his first BMX,
a Diamondback Grind, with which he is deeply in love.
Trust me, Life Does Not Get Better Than This.

wanted to touch...

PRODUCT PLACEMENT

(viewed 615 times)
Yesterday I was asked to become a full time staff member of the bike shop. I
now have appearances to keep up!
I do actually recommend this product to anyone with a road bike - it's bar
tape, with gel patches which go underneath the tape to absorb vibration -
when the bar tape wears out you can replace it with ordinary tape and keep
the gel pads in place.

COMMUTING

(viewed 518 times)
the journey to work ends at the buildings on the right of the road's
vanishing point. 2 bridges to cross, below the second smaller bridge are

GADGETRY

(viewed 475 times)
Top photo: This vehicle was spotted outside work today, and I would dearly
love to play with it. It is owned by Quadra Boats, further down the
industrial estate, and was being repaired by the garage opposite the bike
shop, so there is a slim chance I might get a go on it one day
Bottom Photo: Having downscaled to an old, small laptop, I needs somewhere
to keep me photies and mp3s and suchlike - enter a 500gb USB hard drive,
which doesn't seem to like ubuntu very much!
