A WALK

(viewed 383 times)
went for my first decent walk today, with my mate Dave around Bosherston
lilyponds. As we set off, before either of us had unzipped a camera bag, we
were surrounded by 3 herons, one of which flew straight along the footpath
towards us. I'm tired now.

WORD UP! CARDIGAN

(viewed 431 times)
Yes! Emma Pursehouse is amazing!
I made it over to Cardigan to attend the Poetry Night as I'd missed Emma
when she was last visiting us. Her first set started with her dressed as in
the top photo and she peeled of layer after layer with each poem, so a kind
of poetry striptease if you will (though no nudity), very cleverly written
and delivered, very very funny. The second set consisted of her Magnum Opus,
a kind of one-person-verseplay which places the traditional Punch and Judy
show in the context of daytime telly - complete with Jeremy Kyle to sort it.
I will write a full review for the wordup blog in due course, when the
dizziness has passed.

FORTHCOMING ATTRACTION

(viewed 429 times)
I am determined that I'm going to Cardigan tomorrow for the Word Up Poetry
Night, howsoever I may be feeling. My good friend Rob is back for his third
visit in November, a good job I know how to improve a photo...
