The bus that takes me to my home on a STEEP HILL here in Frisco is about to be hosed, I believe MUNI said it would disappear in February, being subsumed into another bus route on the other side of this district. It's a soothing ride, the least annoying Muni ride there is, and I will really miss it for more than just the fact it drops me off 4 doors from home. The gentleman in the shot, whose name is still unknown to me, sees me every single morning, and always nudges me while sitting at the stop on Castro Street, immersed in a book, to tell me "It's here". He's been doing this for about four, maybe even five years, now. Once or twice, I've returned the favour.
#35 used to run twice an hour and now runs about only once an hour, so it can end up whizzing past you if you don't have either alertness or a friendly neighbour to help you catch it.
I think I'll ask the guy what his name is, tomorrow. When #35 is gone, I wonder if we will ever see each other again?
