"But Steve we thought that you went to Macau not Venice" Well I know
that the Venetian has done a rather good job of creating Venice on the
third floor no less! It even has canals and Gondolier rides (I kid you
not). But it missed out one major detail, the smell, I just doesn't
smell like Venice. In fact instead of sewage it smell of Lush, which
might be because there is one there... that and about 200 other shops.
I was really impressed with this place, not because of the canals or
the Disney esque buildings, but because it had loads of great shops
that remind me of home. I never expected this kind of shopping in
Macau, Hong Kong yes but not so close to home. I'm going to have to
hold onto my bonus with two hands I think.

I've not seen much graffiti at all in Macau or any anti social
behaviour for that matter, the odd boy racer every now and then but
nothing menacing. I can't work out if everyone is socially integrated
and well adjusted or if the trouble makers get carted off. Today ws
very hot and I might have burnt my face like the character in the
picture... the locals are still wearing coats though. Maybe they are
just wearing them because it's the only chance that they get?
