Chips

On a train on the way back from Brighton.The chip shop next to the train station is splendid. Big portion (mostly devoured, with plenty of salt and vinegar) all for a bargain £1.20
Incidentally, the posh bar next to the station... £3.80 for a pint of
Beck's. Ouch. :-(

Problems at the BBC

Trouble at the BBC this morning, then.
Shortly before 3am BST, the election programme on BBC ONE came to an abrupt end with a thud and a flash. A few seconds of black screen, and this caption appears.
At 3am, BBC ONE joined BBC NEWS 24. It seems NEWS 24 is now taking the outside broadcast featuring Emily Maitlis, which was previously used in the election programme.
Switch to Radio 4 VHF? And that's silent. Continuity picked up a
minute or two later and played some music, interspersed with
apologies. They're now replaying some recent Radio 4 programmes.
I wonder if there's a problem at Millbank.
/EDIT: It would appear to be a "big power cut" at Millbank.
