Already posted on Goonflower's moblog, but I couldn't resist!
After crossing the pond last week, my Maryland-born Rusty meets my sister's Hekta for the first time. 'Cousins', if you will! We didn't really know what to expect but they act like they've known each other for ever. Aaar!

He's here, finally my boy is here! After the New York disaster and THREE failed trips to Houston, my beautiful boy has made it across the pond from Maryland. He was in a proper state -- all dishevelled, dehydrated and starving, but after a nice bath, a good hard snooze and a rock star welcome at the local pub, he snuggled up with his cuddly toy and started to settle into his new home. We're sooooo happy he finally made it. It's been a long four months!
Hekta took us for a walk in the sun yesterday...
...is our vet such a fool that he messed up the paperwork AGAIN?!!!
Rusty got as far as Houston, then had to go back to Baltimore...all because the tapeworm pill wasn't recorded on the health certificate.
Let's try this again....

Well, the move from Maryland to the Midlands is almost complete. The husband got his visa (woohoo!) and our 'stuff' is now on a container, somewhere in New York. Just waiting on the dog now!
