We saved this toad from pretty much certain death. He had crawled into a part of the build site where we were going to pour concrete soon.
I say Karma because the last time I had a run-in with an amphibian, I accidently killed it (I was walking home from a concert, talking and not paying attention when I stepped on a tree frog).
He wasn't at all freaked out by me picking him up, and I was able to get it calm enough to allow me to touch it without it jumping away.

When I first moved into this new apartment, I wanted to build new bookshelves. But for some reason, I really liked this bookshelf where it ended up. It fit perfectly and was a good place to put all of my non-gaming, non-paperback books.

The Beatles poster used to be my mother's. The two objects leaning against the wall are didgeridoos. Two of the three lights are white bulbs, and the top one is a color changing one with seven colors. I tried to figure out a way to hang a crystal above the color changing light but the only place to pin it in the wall is where the air duct is, and I couldn't get through it.

Stormy has this thing where she sets up her personal knick-knacks on shelves in the living room in order to make it seem less like an apartment and more like your own space. I've adopted that idea, and used it in my new place. A couple of the items there:
Empty bottle of Limca
A stuffed Domokun
A set of wind-up chattering teeth
Cigarette lighters that I decorated
A jar of slime that contains plastic eyeballs and teeth

The door on the left is the door to my closet, and to the right my room. The two photos are ones that I took about seven years ago, and represent the room or space beyond the door. There is one above the doorway to the bathroom as well.

In the old apartment the dart board was in the bedroom unused. Now, it's prominent in the living room and I've been throwing like *mad*.

Just messing around. I don't know about anyone else, but I really love messing around with blur effects.
