Back from Roatan and ready to go. I come back and whoa, the parliament of Canada is about to be prorogued again...meaning our prime minister is asking to dissolve parliament until march. I think they should all be locked out. permanently.

aside from that, I am looking at the light.

fun with photos

I don't know how it started, but when we get together with our kids, we take photos, cut them up and tape our faces back together. We find it hysterically funny.

top photo is rob, a professional photographer, who lately has been taking photos of half million dollar watches...he says there is a lot of security. He is flexible photographer.

moblog, help. please. only hours left.

please. I signed all kinds of stuff for you guys. Now I need your help. The Children's Storefront is part of a fund raising contest in Canada, but email from anywhere will work. We have reached the end of our resources and here, it is almost time for bed

we are asking for a grant from the Aviva community fund. Your email vote might make a difference.
Me, and my cohorts would be grateful if you could take a minute and vote for the Children's Storefront. I look to you, Europe for hope, because right now, we are so close it's scary.

why I joined facebook

On October 31, the Children's Storefront burned down and was demolished. For over 30 years it been a place where kids and parents taught each other how to survive and have fun. Because it is so old, it is one of the few unstructured parent-child resources in Toronto. I took my boys there, and was lucky enough to take Oscar there. Now most of my spare time is gone. We are fundraising and looking for a new home. I just can't say what a miracle of fun and sanity it was. They have a facebook site so I joined. Forgive me for not friending everyone but facebook is not my style, and my sons are definitely not keen on having their mom take care, and wish us the best.

facebook is called 'The Children's Storefront Needs a New Home'

I like low places

I follow the stream beds because they are low and last to frost, looking for the plants that still believe it is summer.

we have good leaves here.
