train guy

(viewed 1613 times)
Oscar and I took the GO commuter train to Bronte, outside of Toronto. Oscar likes trains (cars, trucks, airplanes, fire engines, bulldozers, backhoes and anything that has an engine) and green apples.

-17 C and no power

(viewed 1335 times)
feeling solidarity with places that Russia is not getting fuel to.

power in downtown toronto was out for 24 hours in the middle of extreme cold, so it has been an adventure.

1.Bloor Street, a major street, lit only by cars.
2.The laundromat owners and family eat by candlelight
3. my street, no street lights, no lights but cars.
4. my house, fire, candles, friends, small babies.

adventures with oscar

Oscar and I went to the Riverdale Farm, which is in the middle of Toronto. Inside the barns it is warm and cosy. Outside it is winter.

Oscar says the goat licked him, and that the hill he climbed was HUUUUUUUUGE.
