It is raccoon season here. Mating time. Adolescents making a lot of noise about being kicked out of home.
This teenager is still young enough not to feel threatened by me. His mom and dad are the size of a small dog and would snarl at me if I was this close.
end of a long day. good night.
finally rained so I can come inside.
top is joe pye weed, a swamp plant that loves a wide shallow swamp and grows six feet tall.
2. redbud and maple blossoms on the ground with foam flower leaves.
3. raindrops on canadian ginger
4. Carolina silverbells in the rain. it's a tree. I lie down under it and look up. works for me.
spent the last two days working because there are two very important plant sales here and I work at both.
bonus is I get to choose plants for myself. this is a pitcher plant, a swamp, bog, fen plant, native to here. I remember it from childhood, and have always liked it.
now I have to build it a home. a bog. a fen. a swamp.
and feed it bike thieves.
sitting in a parking lot waiting for people and behold, a tiny helicopter. why not?
it seems to have exhaust problems.
sunshine and crawling around the woods with my camera make me feel good.
My trusty bike of many years was stolen out of my backyard two weeks ago. Tonight my new bike was stolen while I took a photo, leaned it against something. It was seconds. I never saw it.
Toronto sucks. I didn't even finish insuring it.
going to be doing a lot of walking. it's not all about flowers.
