The writing on the window of one of our local second hand bookshops reminds me of my ex's posters at university.

The shop is owned by the landlord of the Hole in't wall pub. He now only needs to open a chinese restaurant and i may as well just transfer my entire disposable income to him.

Evening walk

I was very proud of myself tonight, managed to resist the call of the tv for a while and went out for a walk up on the top for a bit. Lovely views. Saw some fighting (or possibly mating, but i think they were both male) Pheasants, lots of bees in the heather, little birds. Talked to and fed a very pretty horse, and then sat in the park listening to the church bells of heptonstall. Sigh. Lovely spring evening.
