Grizzly bear

So, unlike the previous bear photos this poor bugger
was in captivity at the Grouse mountain grizzly bear sanctuary. I think
this one was injured and has been nursed back to health. Unfortunately
captive bears get too used to humans and have this nasty habit of eating
them, so they can't be re-released into the wild.

Eeep... doesn't sound good. There's generally a few bears wandering around downtown each year here, but most of them stay up in the mountains. It makes camping scary though. Plus you have to winch all your food up into nearby trees.
