it's rather good, really. Tuesday's isn't quite so exciting, but does
feature rather a lot of famous faces from Ramsay Street past.

julie says:

i was watching bbc breakfast this morning as i was getting ready for work and it appears the bbc have taken this 20 years thing far too seriously. andi peters spent at least 20 minutes faffing around the set and interviewing harold and lou.

what happened to the news? surely this would have been better on later in the morning? i really don't care what the producer woman was looking for when she cast jason donovan. honestly...
grumble grumble don't even watch neighbours grumble grumble licence fee grumble grumble even worse than watching sian williams and her terrible interviewing technique grumble grumble.

T'was a sad day in TV history :-(

julie: the news-lite content of BBC Breakfast wouldn't bother me so much if they weren't simulcasting it on News 24 as well. I still can't understand why they don't just put BBC World out on News 24 for those three hours, it's not like it would cost them anything.

bmal: I think someone might spot it if the tape left the building. Plus you'd also need a DigiBeta machine to play it on.

and ta for the tip-off, Electric_Sheep. I'm not in Glasgow these days, but he's also appearing at Walkabout in Shepherd's Bush, just down the road from work...

Helen says:

I caught it at work today. It was awful. Truly awful. Terrible bad. Just what I needed to reaffirm my withdrawal from Neighbours watching. It's hard to break a 20 year old habit.

Nix says:

where did you get the tape? how exciting! I LOVE Neighbours, it's so bad, but it knows it is. Did anyone see the episode with the fictional writing 'The blonde tipped brogan' where the screen went all hazy and 'dallas'ed up, i was in absolute hysterics. It may be truly tacky, but there is something VERY comforting about it to me...susan is especially!

p.s i am going to see Doctor karl on the 1st in walkabout shepherd's bush!! yeee haw!

teflon says:

Nix: the tape was at work. We usually get episodes a day or two in advance.

I think I'll probably be at the Dr Karl appearance.. although it will mean going to a Walkabout. Hmm.

ooooh, you could let people in on 'spoilers' for biscuit money! tee hee. any jobs going with you? (cried the desperate graduate)

2nd Nov 2005, 19:01

teflon says:

Ah, it's easy to find out what's going on in Neighbours - just ask an Aussie!

No jobs going at the moment, but they were recruting recently (and kel's starting work here soon) - I reckon they may be again in a few months time, though, what with the amount of people who've moved around internally.

Jaggysnake said he stopped watching when Madge died (I never knew - ahhh) -
I stopped watching after Des and Daphne's car crash (poor Daphne, and it was her coffee shop too - who will bring up the kids?)

Does that make me far too old?
