Rich says:

maaaan... The vet said he had an undescended testicle, so instead of a simple snip they're going to have to go into his abdomen and have a fish around. Used those words that every pet owner fears; "I'm afraid it's going to cost a lot more".

Poor little sod.

not quite sure why I've not got round to it ..... he holds his very close!
it's the dual pain thing - and the collar!

chris says:

god the collar! it's the single funniest yet saddest thing ever. the look on the poor buggers faces when they have that thing on.

not to mention when they come riund from the anesthetic - they're like drunkards! ;-)

Rich says:

Turns out E didn't need the collar - 9 out of 10 cats don't bite their stitches... Hmm, that statistic seems oddly familiar... But yeah, he's basically fine, certainly hasn't affected his appetite. Only odd thing is the vet said to keep him in overnight - something about the medication affecting his ability to regulate his heat. He's not particularly happy about that.

Rich, you are a comic genius. This title captured my entire attention amongst every other image title on the list.

Glad to hear the little critter did OK - was it much more expensive than you'd planned, or just a little?

24th Oct 2005, 22:43

Helen says:

Oh, don't encourage 'im.

24th Oct 2005, 22:44

Geodyne says:

That was kind of the point, Helen. Sorry. *wanders off chastised* ;-)
