Daniel Day Lewis wouldn't comment on The Sequel. The number 38 bus goes bendy on the 29th.

DocD says:

Sad sad day. Seems many years of my life was spent on the old routemasters. School, going out, nightbuses etc

I think it's the most social bus in the world. Something about the way the top deck is under a rounded ceiling - so you all sort of have to lean into each other. There's always a buzz about it and quite often you get chatting to other passengers. Yesterday was quite an excpetion though :-)

I only ever caught one once (living in Brum and all) and it was the morning of the worst hangover of my life. It was not an enjoyable journey.

I thought the 159 Routemaster will be the *last* to go on the 9th December. Correct me if I'm wrong though, as I had intentions of taking a last journey.

(We said goodbye to the 14s in July at Putney Heath, it was a brilliant evening!)
