This is the photo that got me my place in Photography class. I hated it, it was stuck at the back of all my other photos and sort of just fell out. Weird huh.

Wow, cool shot!

got any more in that series?

Unfortunately I don't, I just took that one to finish up the film in my camera so that I could develop it. It turned out to be the one everyone liked best.

Thanks for the highlight!

An incredible simple picture, yet bizarrely effective. That is one grubby bathroom though! Its also the kind of picture that I would imagine on an album cover too. Hmmmm.

Very nice shot. The rust stains have a lovely color and lend it a certain sense of sadness.

I'm so glad people like this, I think it's one of my best ones in this style, I'm better with landscape photography.

That was my old bathroom, some of you guys will remember the pictures of when my bathroom got totally ripped out and a new one was installed. There wasn't really any preparation for the shot, I just stumbled into the bathroom and pointed the camera, so I'm happy it turned out nice. One of those lucky shots I guess.

I just bought a Nikon Coolpix 5700 that I have been playing around with - amateur photographer me! Help! There's so many bloody settings on the bugger!

8th Nov 2005, 15:55

Haha. Read the manual like your life depends on it till you know it inside out. I never actually finished my photography class - the numbers fucked me up. Use it on auto to start with and gradually change the settings manually one by one. My sister has my camera right now but when I get it back I'll go through some cool things with you that you can try out on your own camera :)

Yay! Thanks Miss! I like coolness. I am especially proud of one of my pics - I'll post it when I get home to see what everyone says! Keep your eye out! Ta! :o)

Really rather nice and evocative.

Heya! Check my profile out - i've posted that pic I mentioned about up there *points* I stole your title though!

9th Nov 2005, 10:14

No but I really want to get back into it soon. I'm good with close ups and landscape photography. I usually take photos of flowers, I'll have a dig around see if I can find some of my old work.

9th Nov 2005, 15:15

By the way, I didn't exactly steal your title. I used a capital 'P' on Photography, wheras you went for the lower case version. Phew. *huge sigh of relief* no breach of copyright now!
