Inside Daniel Liebeskind's Imperial War Museum North. Feeling small and lost must be a tiny part of the experience of war, but it's an effective strategy nonetheless.

Have either of you been to IWMN? It is stunning, conceptually. The main space turns into a canvas for the frequent picture shows, which are projected onto the space. It's very dramatic. Didn't go up the tower this time as we were too late..

I went up the tower last time, but we didn't leave ourselves time this visit (it was stairs only and they wouldn't let us after 4.30.

I don't have vertigo but that walkway did make me tread carefully.
